Why not tour the Causeway Coast in style with our Nevo 3 or Load 75 Cargo eBikes! You’ll be able to explore the natural beauty of Causeway Coast from the historical Dunluce Castle and Bushmills Distillery to The Giants Causeway and Ballintoy harbour!

- Please be aware that while you are renting your e-bike/s we will require photo ID (license, passport etc) and a deposit of £200 on your credit card.

Are you interested in owning your very own E-Bike? Alive Adventures have teamed up with Ride Electric and are now offering 20 minute E-Bike guided experiences for anybody who would like to try before they buy.
The only way you’ll discover the fun and practicality of an e Bike is to try one! We have a range of opportunites and provide escorted rides over varied terrain that show their true potential.

Bodyboarding is an excellent way to enjoy the ocean, it’s safe and easy to learn. At Alive Adventures we’ve started offering supervised bodyboarding, all equipment is provided, and each group will have a dedicated lifeguard to keep them safe.
In fact, bodyboarding runs through the blood at Alive, did you know Ricky used to bodyboard on the Irish Surf Team?!

Did you know that it was the American Tom Morey who crafted the first modern bodyboard we all know and love today? He first called it the boogie board in 1971. Portrush has produced a steady stream of bodyboarders since the 1990s who have competed at European and International levels – maybe you will be next!!

Learn to surf in Portrush on the best waves in the country with Alive Adventures, the longest-running surf school in Portrush, in fact, the longest-running surf school in Northern Ireland!
We have lots of options for surfing lessons. You can join a group surf lesson by yourself or with friends where you will learn to surf with other excited people who can’t wait to get in the sea! If you would rather learn to surf with just your group then go for the private surfing lesson and if you are looking to improve as an individual select private 1-2-1.
Deluxe surfing is for those looking for that VIP surfing experience! You will meet in our purpose-built surf centre for a tea/coffee pre-surf and get to use our hot showers and changing rooms afterwards before having a cold beer/prosecco or soft drink!
Be warned, surfing is extremely addictive… you will love it!
We also work with charities like the Wave Project to provide regular surf lessons for individuals with learning difficulties.

Learn to Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) with Alive Adventures. It is easy to see why SUP is becoming the fastest growing water sport in the world, it is now even more popular than surfing. Our experienced instructors will take you from novice to pro as you enjoy a relaxing and fun paddle.

Our kids camps are much more than just learning to surf and having an awesome time!! During 4 action-packed days the kids will;
- Learn to surf; 4 x 2-hour surfing lessons

Learning to surf in Portrush is such a cool thing to do in the summer holidays. Kids camps run from Mon-Thurs each week of the holidays, kids get a 2-hour surfing lesson each day all equipment included.
Kids can start surfing from 5 years upwards, we ask a parent to be available (we will provide a wetsuit for free) for any children who are 8 years old or younger
- Location – West Bay Beach, Portrush.
- Duration – 4 days 2hrs each day – please arrive 30 minutes before your lesson starts.

Surf Enquipment Hire

Rent equipment for 2 hours, all day or for several days. Although all our surf lessons are inclusive of equipment, you may wish to practice your newfound surfing skills on your own.
If this is the case, then we also offer a hire service of

- Bodyboards,
- and Wetsuits, as well as boots and gloves.
We hold a huge range of surfboards in a variety of sizes from 7 foot to 9 foot.
Our fleet of paddleboards consists of soft tops and inflatables that are ideal for checking out the West Bay. Our wetsuits are top of the range winter suits and we also stock boots, gloves and hoods during the colder winter months. All hire customers are able to use our changing rooms and hot showers, as well as keep your belongings in our van.
