Go Karting West Midlands - Midland Karting

Midland Karting is hidden away in the peaceful fields and country lanes of the Staffordshire countryside, you’ll find two of the best karting circuits in the UK!

At Midland Karting they have 2 circuits for you to choose from and quite rightly they are very proud of their two circuits, which both benefit from the very grippy ex-airfield tarmac, and floodlights that allow use all year round. The 450-meter International Circuit is ‘fast and flowing’ with sweeping corners, hairpin bends and straights for you to get your speed up. The Family Circuit is 350 meters and is used for training sessions, family track time and birthday parties.

Whichever circuit you drive on, there are plenty of opportunities for overtaking, which is actively encouraged as long as it’s ‘fair and clean’!

If you’re planning to stay and watch the kids race, Midland Karting has great facilities for spectators. There’s plenty of snack options and hot and cold drinks available from the vending machines, and there’s even a heated indoor viewing area if you don’t fancy standing out in the paddocks.

Petrol-powered Karts

Let’s hear more about the karts! Many venues use electric karts, but you’ll only find petrol powered four-stroke race karts at Midland Karting. They’re faster and more reliable, hitting speeds of up to 40mph. Quite a thrill when you’re sitting only inches away from the ground! Depending on your level of ability you’ll either be racing the 200cc Biz Senior karts (with a 120cc version for 8-12 year olds) or the Sodi GT4s.

Super Saver Weekend Offers

If you want to beat the crowds and get a good deal while you’re at it, there’s some great saver deals happening at the weekend. Until the end of March you can make the most of the Saturday Morning Saver, which runs from 9.30 til Midday and offers 20-40 minutes of track time from £15 to £25.

The Sunday Saver is also a great deal: from 4pm til late you can have 45 minutes of track time for just £25. Midland Karting is a brilliant outdoor karting location for anyone in the Midlands or surrounding areas and is under 20 miles from Birmingham. Wherever you’re travelling from in the UK, it’s well worth a visit!

Expert Tuition

Whether you’re new to karting or want to take your driving to the next level, there’s great tuition options at Midland Karting. They offer group sessions for Juniors or Teens, which is half a day of racing and tuition, finishing with a hot lunch. If you prefer one-to-one tuition that can be arranged too, with a fantastic team of experienced instructors (one of whom is a professional kart racer).
