Published on: 21/01/24
We’re all about beating the shorter-days blues with some wet and wild, cockles-warming winter adventures! For you ultimate adventurers, check out our last blog, detailing coasteering off (literally!) the stunning rocky headlands of Northern Ireland. It was so much fun, this week we’ve moved just a few miles along this beautiful, world-beating coastline. In deference to those who don’t fancy actually plunging into water, we’re exploring staying serenely afloat on it, on no less scenic kayaking adventures.
Enjoy a Paddlin’ Good View
Book NowBased from the beautiful town of Ballycastle, part of the Wild Atlantic Way, Causeway Coast Kayaking Tours offer bespoke guided tours of the beautiful Northern Irish coast. Most of us have experienced spectacular sea views from cliff top paths, viewpoints and beaches; this offers immersive experiences among stunning coastal land and seascapes like no other.
Suitable for beginners and families through to experienced and advanced kayakers, Causeway Coast’s tours will show you the beauty, heritage and history of Northern Ireland from a totally unique perspective, uncovering hidden spots and getting up and close with local wildlife. Exploring the area from the water lets you see a different side of Northern Ireland than from the road.
Departing from a range of local locations to give you the best experience, views and sea conditions possible, all tours are fully guided, with highly qualified and experienced staff. Indeed, your friendly local guides are dedicated to making every tour as memorable as possible, with local knowledge, history and natural history bringing the views alive, as well as support, tips and tuition if requested. With top-quality equipment and clothing, safety briefings and supervised practice, your safety and enjoyment is priority. You’ll never be asked to do anything out of your comfort zone, with the option to go wilder (and wetter) should you desire!
