Explore the best of the West on board the 40′ deck saloon, offering the perfect combination of sailing comfort and ocean performance. Ideally placed for exploring the West Coast of Scotland, the marina has direct access to The Firth of Lorn, a special area of conservation whose rich feeding grounds make this area a hot spot for wildlife.

Likely to spot dolphins, there’s a good chance a curious pod will choose to escort the boat, leaping effortlessly alongside as you sail along. A short sail to the West brings you to the Sound of Mull, with numerous options for day sailing North and South through the Sound.

This is an experience to be relished, not rushed. With the choice of one, two or multi-day trips, you have the option to incorporate sailing into a longer visit to the area, or wider travel itinerary (Let’s Go Out’s tip is the popular two-day trip to Tobermory, incorporating the best of marine and island experiences).

Further out the estuary you will find the Isle of May, home to characterful Puffins, then onto Bass Rock, the world’s largest Northern gannet colony. Home to over 150,000 at peak season, you’ll gasp at close-up views of these stunning birds’ high-speed dives into the sea, right off the side of your boat.

Seals and porpoises are commonly sighted; however relaxed you’ll now be feeling thanks to the great hospitality, keep your eyes alert for a sighting of a friendly whale.
