Days Out in Birmingham

Continuing our banish-the-winter-blues trip around some of the best attractions in or on the doorstep of our major cities, this week we’ve arrived in Birmingham. A centre of industry and recreation for centuries, great transport links mean there’s no reason for the people of the midlands to keep these treats for themselves!

With easy access from north, south, east and west into Wales, you’re spoiled for choice, indoors and out. So here’s our starter for four- what are you waiting for?

Midland Karting, Lichfield

Sea Life Centre Birmingham

Bringing the seaside to you, Birmingham’s National Sea Life Centre is one of Britain’s best aquariums, with a multi-million-pound Rescue Facility has been carefully designed to emulate a natural habitat for rescued marine mammals.
