Published on: 30/08/23
Let’s Go Outers love exploring the whole of the UK, and that definitely includes Northern Ireland. So to make the most of mellow September days, we’re heading to Castle Archdale Country Park, located just 20 minutes from Enniskillen in County Fermanagh. On the shores of Lough Erne, its 230 acres boast beautiful woodland and lough shore walks, an insect and butterfly garden, wildflower meadow and deer enclosure.
Great for walking and cycling, with over 30km of forest trails including various waymarked trails. Head along the secluded enclosure of the forest, hugging the shore of Lower Lough Erne to take in stunning panoramic views across to Davy’s Island, White Island and further across Lower Lough Erne.
