Whickham Golf Club was founded in 1911 and moved to its present site at Hollinside Park in 1938.
Whickham's course has been developed on rolling hillside and has to be one of the most attractive courses in the North of England. The panoramic views over the Derwent Valley, Tyneside and beyond are simply stunning. Scoring is determined more by accuracy than length as you plot your way through the tree-lined fairways to target small, tricky greens.
