The March Hare Leisure Centre has a landscaped 7 acre, 10 stand, Sporting Layout Clay pigeon shoot picturesquely set out with woodland, streams and pools.
We specialize in providing shoots for novices and inexperienced shooters and our highly experienced and very friendly instructors will soon have you breaking clays.

Combined Practical Shooting Challenge

Practical Shotgun shooting would normally be undertaken with Pump Action or Semi Automatic 12g or 20g guns with 5 to 10 shot magazines. In the UK however, because they have more than 3 shot capabilities, these weapons would be classed as firearms rather than shotguns and can only be used by firearms license holders. These therefore cannot be used until suitable training has been given and a Section one firearms certificate has been given.

The March Hare has a 6m indoor range plus two 8m outdoor ranges and an IPAS (Iron Plate Action Shoot) range. We have a variety of targets to shoot at from standard paper roundels to silhouette and pop ups.
Iron plate action shooting or I.P.A.S, is the latest and ultimate action shooting discipline, designed specifically for the multi shot CO2 pistols.
The discipline relies on the combination of speed and accuracy. Success depends on both these key principles

The March Hare is one of only a handful of grounds in the Midlands where you have the opportunity to shoot with a .22 calibre rimfire Section 1 firearm.
As with all of our activities, only one thing is more important than your enjoyment, and that is your safety, and to ensure this, you will shoot on our target ranges under close supervision and with expert tuition from our friendly, professional instructors. 4x4 Off Road Driving Experience

Our purpose built 4x4 off road track consists of a variety of natural hazards and obstacles including water splashes, inclines and drops, banks, sideslopes, crossovers, mud, ruts, roller coaster section and break back ridges. We can offer demonstration rides in our vehicles or, for something a little different, try our " Smooth Track Challenge" is a great way to include some 4x4 driving in a team or multi activity day

Quad Biking

Whether it's your first time on a quad or you're an experienced rider, this course will keep you challenged. Using a 150cc Kazuma Falcon ATV, you will be negotiating obstacles such as narrow gates, side slopes, raised side risers, the log pile, a see saw and even limbo bars. A grand total of 30 obstacles over a 200m track to negotiate without penalties.
