At Skydive Ireland we offer two pathways of Solo Skydiving Courses.
pathway 1: aff training courses
AFF (Accelerated Freefall) is a full training course created to take you from someone with feet firmly planted on the ground to becoming a solo skydiver in as little as 7 jumps.
It all starts with the ground training, where you’ll learn the skills to stay stable in freefall, how to open, fly and land your parachute, and most importantly, how to skydive safely.
Once you’re ready, you’ll take to the skies with two instructors. As you progress from AFF Level 1 to Level 7 it will become one instructor and before you know if it, you’ll be jumping on your own.
Useful Information
- The minimum age to skydive in the UK is 16. Under 18’s MUST have a parent or legal guardian to co-sign their forms, this can be done on the day or in advance.
- You must start your training before your 55th Birthday as per BPA rules and regulation

The tandem skydive is the most popular and the best way that you can try out skydiving for the first time! Our expert instructors have thousands of jumps, and you will be fully trained, and use specialist equipment, to ensure a safe and incredible experience!
Whether you want a one-off experience of a lifetime, you’re looking for a great way to raise money for a charity close to your heart, or you want to test it out before booking a solo course, and tandem skydive is the perfect choice.
No matter your reason to jump with us, we’ll make sure to look after you every step of the way.
Join us on the legendary North Coast of Northern Ireland, for the highest skydive in Ireland from 15,000 feet. Freefall at 120mph before the parachute is deployed and gently descend for a soft touchdown in front of friends and family.
Our staff will be there with you from start to finish and train you to the highest levels of safety to ensure you feel looked after from arrival to departure.
We also offer photo and video packages to capture the memory of your Skydive Ireland experience.

There is no upper age limit at all for tandem jumps, our oldest jumper was in their 90s.
