Ride in Peace Adventure is based in Alford, Aberdeenshire, and offers a professional and friendly team to help you have a great time and enjoy the experiences available.
Nestled between Aberdeen and the Cairngorms National Park, we offer mountain bike coaching at our local trail centres and guided rides across Royal Deeside glens and mountains or explore the Donside beautiful hills and secret gems.
We’re all about riding in peaceful places and enjoying beauty of the hills. We want to help you gain the skills and experience to ride with confidence. We provided the peace of mind that accompanies a highly experienced guide and coach.

Cycling and Mountain Biking Basics (Ladies Only)

Morning session 10-12am is for cycling and mountain biking basics and fundamentals. For those of you starting out on the mountain bike and wanting to feel comfortable getting out on the bike independently. We’ll cover the basics from bike set up to riding position and basic riding techniques.
Afternoon Session 1-3pm is skills without the hills. For ladies who enjoy riding, but would like to finesse their mountain bike skills on the bike. They will be based around practice AWAY from the trail to let you focus on building skills without distractions. Building great technique to help you find your flow on the trails!
The sessions will cover Body positioning, Braking and cornering techniques and provide tips and tricks to help your riding flow.
Friendly female only groups and female instructor provide a relaxed atmosphere to practice new skills and build confidence.
Sessions can be booked individually.
Useful Information
What to Bring
To get the most out of your day you need to be prepared for everything the trail or weather may have in store for you!
A suitable working mountain bike in good condition (please contact us if you would like to hire a bike for the session), helmet, gloves, waterproof jacket, suitable outdoor clothing and shoes (trainers are fine).
A Snack and drink.
Your coach will have some essential equipment and spares.
