The visitor centre is open daily for you to treat yourself to something in the coffee shop and gift shop. Picnic facilities are available, with several picnic benches located close to the visitor centre. Further benches and seating are provided throughout.
The main lawn, visitor centre and glasshouses are easily accessible by wheelchairs. The paths to the rest of the garden are generally good, but due to the nature of the garden are quite steep in parts and some are not suitable for wheelchairs or motorised scooters.
