This 10ha (25 acre) University Botanic Garden is set among beautiful mature woodlands. Open to the public, visitors can wander through the alpine garden, winter garden, bamboo grove, glasshouses, woodland garden and wildflower meadow. Opening Times

  • November – February / 10:30am – 4pm
  • March – October / 10am – 4:30pm

Parking:

We offer free parking 7 days a week at the Visitor Centre car park.  We also offer Howland’s Farm car park on midweek days, and the Maths and Computer Sciences car park on weekends and bank holidays, free in both car parks.

Please note, you must give your registration number to the staff in the Visitor Centre on arrival to verify free parking in all of these car parks.
