RHS Burton Agnes Hall Gardens
The old walled garden of Burton Agnes Hall has been redesigned in a neo-Elizabethan style (to complement the nearby house) and divided into numerous, thickly-planted gardens.
As well as a potager and herb garden, the garden incorporates unconventional features such as giant games boards for chess, draughts and snakes-and-ladders, a jungle garden and a maze. Slightly more conventional are the colour-themed gardens and sumptuous plantings of shrub roses, clematis and herbaceous plants.
