RHS Batsford Arboretum

Situated near the North Cotswolds market town of Moreton-in-Marsh, Batsford Arboretum is home to maybe one of the country’s largest private collections of trees and shrubs. Wander through 22.5ha (56 acres) of wild gardens, paths and streams and marvel at beautiful views across the Evenlode Valley beyond. Beginning in the 1880s, the arboretum also has several oriental curiosities brought from Japan by Lord Redesdale – including a large bronze Buddha and an oriental rest-house.
