Old Dairy Brewery is a national award-winning brewery nestled in the “Garden of England” in Tenterden, Kent. We brew range of traditional English beers through to exciting craft beers, seasonal and special beers.
Our brewing story began in 2010 in a converted dairy on a farm (hence our name). Due to increased demand for our beers we moved to our new larger brewery in 2014, which is now housed in two World War II Nissen huts in Tenterden. The Brewery is also home to our Brewery Shop and Taproom.
Only the English finest malts and hops are used to brew our beers in cask, bottles, keg and can.

Our story began early in 2010, when the brewery was set up in an old milking parlour deep in the Kent countryside. The Old Dairy Brewery was an immediate success, building a loyal fan base among ale enthusiasts who appreciated our finely crafted recipes, locally sourced ingredients and interesting variety of beer styles. Our beers are brewed with hops grown locally by Hukins Hops – just 3 miles away!
Over the course of about 1.5 hours our knowledgeable staff will provide...
- A full tour of the brewery, including the brewing and fermentation vessels
- Details of the brewing process, from raw ingredients through to our award-winning beers
- Answers to all the questions you may have about the brewery and brewing process
- Samples of some of our wonderful beers during and after the tour
- An opportunity to purchase our beer and other products in our well-stocked Taproom and Brewery Shop.
- Our Tours are at 10.30 am - book online to check dates and availability.
Please turn up at the Taproom 5 minutes before the start of your tour. Sensible footwear is recommended and warm clothing in the winter months!

Either way a guided tour gives you the peace of mind knowing that your local guide will not only be able to show you the beautiful Kentish landscape, interesting places and hidden gems in Tenterden and the surrounding areas that you didn't know were there but also is on hand to answer any questions or help if there are any issues that might arise. (flat tyre etc)
