A private surf lesson is perfect for any ability level and can be arranged for any time- however, we try to have it at the best time for the conditions.

We make this lesson exclusive to you and our experienced coaches personalize the lesson for your needs, whether that's having some fun or taking your surfing to the next level!

We can offer surf lesson packages that are exclusive to a group for anyone wanting something exciting and different for a special occasion. If you have a group of atleast 8 people, we’ll make it private to you for no extra cost.

All equipment provided, including high quality 5mm thick wetsuits (including boots, gloves and a hood if required).

What to expect?

You'll meet your instructor at the beach carpark. Then we'll get changed and head down to the beach for an introduction covering theory & safety info. After a quick warm up we'll get in the water, where the instructor will give you personalised tips and help guide you into waves if necessary. You'll have lots of time to enjoy the water and waves while our instructor will help you to continue improving.

We can also arrange catering/ other add ons to make the perfect day! Give us a shout if you'd like to chat over any plans.

Try something new or refresh your skills at a beginner group lesson to have guaranteed fun, where one of our experienced coaches will teach you all you need to know about safety, equipment and of course how to pop up on a surfboard and ride along the amazing waves we get here!

Any of our 5/4mm wetsuits, foam boards, kayaks & hardboards can be hired out for 2 hours, a full day or multiple days. We also rent out paddleboards- these require very calm conditions so get in touch to book this.

Our suits are really good quality and most importantly super warm! This is a great option is you have had a lesson before and want to practice and improve your skills.

We also have a range of shortboards for more experienced surfers- Please provide notes in the comments section when booking with what type/size of board you would like, if you know.

We are flexible with times and can usually arrange meeting at whenever suits you best (So don't worry about the time on the booking.)

We'll arrange for you to either meet us at the carpark at Dunnet beach or at our base (just outside of Castletown, near Dunnet beach) to pick up the equipment.

Hear quirky local tales of this incredible coastline and learn about its wildlife. You'll have the chance to spot seals, dolphins, a variety of birds and even orcas!

What to Bring

Our RIB is open to the elements and we go out in most weathers including the rain, so please dress appropriately for the weather. It is always cooler on the water.

We aim to not get you wet, however we cannot guarantee this, so please make sure you have a waterproof layer, as it can get a bit splashy in certain conditions. On colder days, hats and gloves are essential.

Life jackets are mandatory and are provided by us.
