GoBoat allows you to explore the city from the water, experiencing the historic canals from a completely new perspective - at your own pace. You are your own captain when renting our fully-electric boats to cruise along the network of waterways through the city. Fitting up to 8 people, you'll enjoy a unique social sailing experience with friends, family or colleagues.

GoBoat is the fun, self-drive boating experience. You're the captain; you choose the route. From our location at Brindley Place, GoBoat gives you access to a stunning section of Birmingham's vibrant canal network. Your boat fits up to 8 people including children (dogs are also welcome). No boating experience is necessary, as you’ll be taught everything you need to know. It’s easy… we promise!
Useful Information
Our friendly crew are ready to welcome at our kiosk under the bridge from the ICC. They'll give you your boating instructions and provide life jackets and buoyancy aids for babies and children. You’ll also be given a route map to help you navigate your way along the canal loops. Set sail on a 1, 2 or 3-hour adventure with friends and family. Grab your picnic and make lifelong memories, whilst experiencing Birmingham from a whole new perspective.
