Its one of Essexs most iconic locations, and were thrilled to announce that Hylands Park in Chelmsford, is set to become our 35th UK location.
Launching this summer, Go Ape Chelmsford will feature three of our high ropes experiences. An outdoor adventure hub that will include high-speed ziplines, free-fall Tarzan Swings and a host of tricky tree-to-tree crossings.
It will be the hottest adventure in town, providing challenging outdoor experiences for people aged 4 to 94. Excited?

Are you ready to take on our original high ropes adventure and scale the highest parts of our course at Go Ape Chelmsford Highlands Park?
Treetop Challenge is the place for adults and children over 1.4m to get their adrenaline kicks and earn their adventure stripes.
Negotiate tricky crossings high above the forest floor, testing your strength, balance and co-ordination. Your reward? Coasting through the forest back to the ground on thrilling zip wire rides.

- One participating adult (18+) can supervise up to two children aged 10 to 15 years while on the course.

Treetop Adventure is a high ropes course for families with children over 1m tall. The course features multiple loops of crossings that finish with a super-fun zip wire down to the ground.
The continuous belay safety system means that participants are always attached to the course. Treetop Adventure is an excellent way for children (and their supervising adults) to build confidence, beginning on loops of the course that are less challenging, before taking on wobbly bridges to put their skills to the test.

Ready to climb higher and zip further? Treetop Adventure Plus is all about more height, more thrills and more fun, ideal for older children over 6 years old and 1.2m.
After finding their confidence on a loop of the Treetop Adventure course, young explorers can take their adventure to the next level, advancing higher into the tree tops to put their skills to the test.
The crossings get more tricky, with added wobble for extra laughs, plus the zip wire finale is even longer and more thrilling.
