Although Bottlenose Dolphins tend to be the most frequently encountered and well known species in the Moray Firth, we do often encounter other sealife and birdlife while out on our trips.
Like the Dolphins some species, such as the shy Harbour Porpoise can be seen in the Firth all year round, others such as the Pilot Whale and Basking Shark are much more occasional visitors. Experience over the years has taught us where and when we are most likely to encounter which species but often, as with any wild animal, it comes down to a little bit of luck.
None of the wildlife we see on our trips are fed or trained to perform in any way and although this means that we can never guarantee sightings completely, it is what makes every trip we do different, and every encounter we have so special.
