Curious About... Conwy
Explore Conwy town centre with two self-guided heritage walks with a treasure hunt theme. Discover Conwy's "hidden treasures" whilst having a fun day out with family and friends!
Conwy (aka Conway) is a fabulous 13th century North Wales town on the banks of the River Conwy, overlooked by a delightfully complete castle. It also boasts Britain’s smallest house – 10 feet deep, 6 feet wide and 10 feet high.
The last person to live there was a 6 feet 3 inch tall fisherman! Surrounding the town are medieval walls which are arguably the most intact anywhere – according to Max Brook's novel Zombies are unable to breach walls, so maybe this is Britain’s most secure town!
