Corrieshalloch Gorge
Corrieshalloch Gorge is based in Braemore, Ross-shire Sauchen, and offers a professional and friendly team to help you have a great time and enjoy the experiences available.
Walk across the suspension bridge as the River Droma rushes through a mile-long box canyon below. Cross the suspension bridge and marvel at the Falls of Measach plummeting into one of the most spectacular gorges in Britain.
Follow the trails through the woodland for views of the surrounding area. Look out for different species of ferns growing in the microclimate of the gorge. This mile-long canyon, through which the River Droma rushes, takes its name from the Gaelic for ‘ugly hollow’. But that’s as far from the truth as can be.
