Clearsky Adventure

This fun, educational and exciting sport will see you exploring our beautiful and unique 900 acre estate (don’t worry not all of it!) while on the hunt for the elusive markers. Our experienced instructors will be there to help and to teach you all the skills needed to find your way.

Working in pairs you will have to test your balance and your nerve as you ascend a free standing column of crates, building it as you go! Each person is fitted with a climbing harness & helmet and is attached to an anchor system controlled by our experienced instructors. How high can you go?

After getting kitted out in a climbing harness and helmet you will have a chance to scale the Climbing Tower before abseiling back down again. Each climber is safely attached via a climbing rope that is controlled by our experienced instructors. There are a number of different climbs available with varying degrees of difficulty to suit everyone.

A fun, high energy and fast paced team activity that will challenge everyone while having a great time. Teams have to drive the skis, navigate across poisonous yogurt, race pedal karts and race wheelbarrows as they ‘wing a welly’…..and all against the clock and opposing team(s)!

You will be sized up for a state of the art front suspension Mountain Bike and helmet and given an introduction into how to operate the gears etc. Our experienced instructors will then guide your group around some of the 50km of purpose built Mountain Bike Trails on our beautiful and unique 900 acre estate. There are trails to suit all abilities and each session is tailored to suit the ability of the group.

At our purpose built Archery Range and using state of the art equipment you will be taught the skills required to be the next Robin Hood or Maid Marion and the experienced instructors will tailor the session to suit all levels of ability. Archery Northern Ireland.

Using modified replica shot guns you will ‘shoot’ at a number of flying clays. The guns fire an infrared laser been that reflects of sensors on the clays which register either a hit or a miss. All your scores are displayed and collated on a digital scoreboard with speakers with up to 5 people shooting at once!

A voyage on Strangford Lough is a ‘must do’ – the tide Ebbs & Flows through the loughs mouth known as the ‘The Narrows’ passing by the ancient castles which guard its shores and around its many ‘drumlin’ islands. The lough is a haven for marine and bird wildlife many of which have migrated all the way from the other side of the World – it is now a designated World Marine Nature Reserve and rightly so – Seals and Porpoises frequent these waters

Canadian Canoes are long comfortable boats that we raft together in order to form a very stable platform. In this format they DO NOT capsize. Our experienced instructors will show you the technique involved and lead you on a journey around our sheltered calm bay – part of the Strangford Lough Canoe Trail. Then if you are feeling energetic we can go further up Strangford Lough past the stunning Audleys Castle and Islands.

Setting off in both single and tandem ‘sit on top’ kayaks our experienced instructors will show you the technique involved before playing a some fun games and challenges all inside out sheltered calm bay – part of the Strangford Lough Canoe Trail. This session is always a wet session and the opportunity is also available for a pier jump as part of this session. Oh and we can almost guarantee you will have ‘Seals’ beside your boat being nosey – brilliant! Kayak Northern Ireland, Kayak Belfast.

Work your way around, over and under otherwise inaccessible parts of the rugged Ballyhornan coastline. Clamber over rocks, explore old smugglers caves, ‘cannon ball’ into the water and leap off sea cliffs if you dare! Luckily our centre is located right beside Ballyhornan the premier location for coasteering Northern Ireland with its spectacular variety of sea caves, cliff jumps, incredible marine wildlife, Irish Sea swells and sheltered waters

Your mission is to construct a sea faring craft out of the provided equipment and make it round the marked course within our calm sheltered bay! Our experienced instructors will be there to literally show you the ropes. This session is always a wet session and the opportunity is also available for a pier jump as part of this session.
