Ackers Adventure
Ackers Adventure is a charity that exists to promote and engage people of all ages, abilities and disabilities in the regular pursuit of outdoor adventure activities.
We are an outdoor activity centre located in Birmingham! Join in with the fun and excitement by choosing any of our activities.
All of our activities take part in over 75 acres of diverse landscape and habitats ranging from open grassland, woodland and marsh cut through by the River Cole, the Grand Union Canal, and Mainline Railways.
This creates a fascinating area to have a great outdoor adventure. We are described as a hidden urban oasis, a green gem that overlooks Birmingham city centre.

Weve seen you stealing your childs Tobbogan to have a sneaky go!! Well now you can. We are closing the main slope for Tubing sessions. These half hour sessions will run from at least half way up the slope and maybe further depending on the weather.

We offer a range of options within our teambuilding activity for your group. We are situated in over 70 acres of semi rural land and can host a wide range of programmes that can be tailor-made to suit your groups training needs. We also have free on-site parking and an events room where individuals can have lunch, coffee breaks and leave their belongings.

What is Disc golf?
Disc (or Frisbee) golf is a similar game to "regular" golf except that it's played with a Disc. Players throw the disc as close as possible to a specially designed target called a basket, then throw again from where the disc landed, trying to get into the basket in the lowest number of throws. The chains on a target are there to help catch the disc by deflecting it into the basket.
