Active Highs offer instructed rock climbing & abseiling near Fort William & Fort Agustus. We have various venues that we use near our centre in the Great Glen. We have a selection of fantastic small natural crags in our area with plenty of easy rock climbing routes. Once you have mastered your climbing techniques and reached the top of your route there is always the the option of an abseil back down.

Active Highs offer kayaking trips near Fort William & Fort Augustus on Loch Oich & Loch Ness. We also offer full day sea kayak trips in Arisag on the West Coast of Scotland. Loch Oich and Loch Ness are both part of Great Glen Canoe Trail and The Caledonian Canal system. We are able to run a wide range of kayaking trips and kayak coaching from 2 hour beginner trips, to half and full day adventures on the sea or white water.

Canyoning in Scotland is one of the most fun, adventurous and exciting things that you can do on your trip to the Highlands & is a fast growing adrenaline filled adventure sport. White Water Rafting Fort William with Active Highs Active Highs run white water rafting near Fort William & Fort Augustus in the Scottish Highlands. Our weekly scheduled rafting trips are run on the River Garry which is a fantastic grade 3 and 4 white water rafting experience that is suitable for a wide range of adventure lovers! The River Garry is in our opinion the best white water rafting experience in Scotland due to the guaranteed release of water from the dam at the top of the river.
