So far in our blog series, we’ve looked at Go Karting in Leicester and Northampton and given you some great ideas of venues to visit. This time we’re travelling to the middle of the UK to the county of Warwickshire to find out where to go for a great day of Go Karting!

Warwickshire Indoor Go Karting

Mr Karting is an indoor karting track just outside of Leamington Spa, a few minutes’ drive from the M40 so easy to get to whichever part of Warwickshire you’re coming from. They are the only kart track in Coventry & Warwickshire to have been awarded a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence in 2019 and have hundreds of 5-star reviews! Although closed for the moment, the track is usually open 7 days a week with loads of special offers and discounts on weekday nights. Mr Karting also hosts open race events such as the Seasonal Sprints Series and annual Sprint Series Championships, that are designed to be affordable, accessible, and competitive.

Ace Karting

Ace Karting in Nuneaton has recently reopened for groups of 2 to 6 under strict government guidelines, so if you’ve been missing your karting fix get yourself booked in! As well as a junior driver track there’s an experienced driver track complete with flyover for a unique thrill-seeking experience. The new Bowman Arrow Karts are powered by Sodi RT8 270cc engines producing 9hp, with Honda 140cc engines producing 4hp for the juniors. Cutting-edge Supersport computer systems are there to tell you current lap times, team performance, drivers waiting and fastest laps. The adult drivers might also be interested to know that they have a fully licensed bar so you can enjoy a drink, either to celebrate smashing your best lap time or commiserate losing to your mate!

TeamSport Coventry

Coventry was the heart of the UK’s car industry, so where better to race around on four wheels? The new 500m multi-level track features beastly bends, stunning straights, and relentless ramps to keep even the most experienced karter entertained. Driving one of the 200cc Biz Petrol Karts, you’ll reach speeds of up to 40mph! But will you beat the average lap time of 44 seconds? Go as an individual or small group, or take part in one of the competitive race events for 8 drivers or more, from F1 experiences through to knockout laps, time trials and qualifying heats. Adventure Sports

If you want to double your karting fun, get down to Adventure Sports in Warwick. Their twin engine 400cc Biz Le Mans karts have twice the power of normal 200cc karts and can reach speeds of up to 50mph! Based in the Midland’s largest activity centre, the outdoor track is the perfect place to race karts with state- of-the-art electronic De Haardt safety systems and Tag Heuer timing.
