Play golf at Swingers
Swingers is a unique venue that combines crazy golf courses with amazing street food vendors and expertly-made cocktails. Swingers is about far more than just golf, this 1920s themed venue has been expertly designed with an impressive five cocktail bars, a two-story clubhouse complete with gin terrace, and nightly DJs.
If you’re looking to impress your date with a night full of fun and excitement, then you can’t go wrong with a trip to Swingers. If you’re celebrating a special occasion, then it’s possible to reserve a table on the gin terrace, or you can even book the President’s Committee Room for an ultimate sense of exclusivity.
Watch a show in the West End
Watching a world-famous performance in the West End can be a truly unforgettable experience. There is nothing quite like seeing your favourite show come to life on the big stage! Sharing the theatre experience with your date can be a great way to build an emotional connection.
It will also give you something interesting to talk about at a post-show dinner, thus avoiding any awkward silences or small talk. What’s more, many theatres offer fantastic deals on tickets, especially if you book in advance. This means seeing a show in London and planning a date to the theatre doesn’t have to break the bank!
Have dinner in the Sky Garden
Sky Garden is London’s highest garden at 155 metres and offers spectacular 360-degree views of the city. The venue offers several excellent restaurants, an open-air terrace, and observation decks, making it the perfect spot for a special date night in the city. Entrance to Sky Garden is free but you need to book tickets in advance. The venue releases tickets three weeks in advance and it’s advisable to book as early as possible to secure the time slot you want.
The Sky Garden accepts walk-in guests after 6pm on weekdays or after 9pm on weekends. However, it’s still a good idea to book ahead as there are often long queues. You should also book a table at the restaurant of your choice. Sky Garden has two romantic restaurants serving up fine dining with beautiful views of the city. The Darwin Brasserie and Fenchurch Restaurant can be booked online via the SkyGarden website.
Make gin at The Distillery
The Distillery is the perfect date venue for gin lovers! Located on Portobello Road in glamorous Notting Hill, this four-story distillery features two gin bars and offers an impressive menu with over 100 gins to choose from.
They also offer critically acclaimed gin making classes which take place at The Ginstitute in the hotel's basement distillery. These events last 3 hours and make a fun and interesting date night activity. There are even boutique hotel rooms available to book upstairs, so you don’t need to worry about catching the last train home.

What could be more romantic than watching the sunset while enjoying a champagne cruise down the River Thames?
Many companies offer this incredible experience and you can also opt for a delicious 3-course meal and live entertainment onboard the luxury boat. You will get the opportunity to watch the sun setting over the river and then see London’s most iconic landmarks lit up at night.
