A decade ago, few Brits had heard of Stand-Up Paddleboarding, let alone given it a go themselves.
Today, ‘SUPing’ is one of the UK's fastest growing watersports, with hire centres, tuition and guided SUP tours offered up and down the country.
A SUP session can be anything you make of it. It can be a fun way to let loose with friends, or it could be a solo paddle to relax the mind and forget the problems you have on land.
Here’s a good reason why you should try SUP:
It's really relaxing | Great exercise | Cheap | Fun | You'll look like a celeb | Someone will fall in (comically)
You'll be one with nature | Meet new people | Anyone can do it | You don't need to live beside the sea | You’ll rock an awesome tan |
Spend quality time in the outdoors with friends and family exploring!
