Nottingham Off Road Events are in a great location for both holiday makers and stag and hen dos, as they’re based in the heart of Sherwood forest. This makes them perfectly placed for guests of Centreparcs, in Sherwood Forrest, and Forest Holidays, Sherwood Forest looking to have an adventurous day out, as well as groups of mates heading to Mansfield and Nottingham for the weekend.
So what can you get up to at Nottingham Off Road Events?
Adventure Packages
They are specialists in dreaming up fantastic packages of fun and exciting activities, for adults and kids alike. So rather than just turning up to try your hand at one thing, you can choose from a variety of brilliantly named ‘Drive and Shoot’, ‘Madness and Motor’, or ‘Motor Mayhem’ combinations.
For example, you can combine blindfold 4x4 driving with archery (not at the same time!) or dirt buggies and crossbows. These packages are a great way of mixing up the usual adventures with something completely different.
Kid’s Birthday Parties and School Holiday Fun Days
The kids party packages are a great way to celebrate a birthday and are available for children aged 6 to 14. They can get all kitted out in camo gear to have fun with their friends, and you can choose 3 activities to do from Blindfold Maze, Tug of War, Monkey Trail, Mountain Flag Race, Jigsaw Hunt, Sack Race with Hurdles and Reverse Sitting.
If your kids get under your feet in the summer holidays, an activity day is the perfect way to keep them occupied (and they’ll be nice and tired out by the time you pick them up!) They’ll have loads of fun playing combat games, riding quad bikes and shooting water guns from 10am til 3pm, with a stop for a yummy lunch halfway through.
Santa Treks
At this time of year, Nottingham Off Road Events have a special Santa-themed adventure! This is a unique 4x4 trip suitable for the whole family, where you get the chance to help Santa find his lost presents. The treasure hunt finishes with a trek through the woods to Santa’s grotto, where Father Christmas himself is waiting to reward the children that have helped him.
With a café on site offering hot and cold drinks and snacks, you can really make a day of it, and much better than trudging round the shops! It’s only on for two weekends before Christmas so if you want to get involved, we suggest you get booking pronto!

If you keep an eye on the Special Offers page on the Nottingham Off Road Events website, there’s always a deal to be had for savvy adventurers. At the moment they’re offering an early bird discount for 4x4 driving on a Sunday morning, with a saving of 20% if you don’t mind getting up a bit earlier!
They also support NHS staff with year-round discounts, so if you’re eligible make sure to mention that when booking.
