Inflatable Parks Manchester

Published on: 19/07/21

One thing we’ve certainly had drummed into us over the last year is the importance of being safe. And let’s face it, the dreaded phrase ‘Health and Safety’ has never had much allure, even before Covid turned it up to eleven. However, if you replace the word ‘safety’ with ones like ‘enjoyment’, ‘freedom’, and ‘peace of mind’, you can see it’s an important factor, especially if you have kids, special circumstances or needs.

And the great news is, safety absolutely doesn’t mean boring! Inflatable parks are literally springing up all over the country. They’re great venues where kids- big and little alike- can run, bounce, race, flip, challenge, duel, slide, dive, dance, giggle and play. With the latest inflatable and spring-loaded technology, immersive zones, funky music and lights, it’s an activity that will definitely get your heart thumping and breath racing, while fully welcoming all ages from toddlers upwards.

Let’s take a look at three Greater Manchester inflatable parks which give just a flavour of the fantastic range of obstacles, activities, themes and sessions available, guaranteed to get you bouncing off the ceiling!

AirVault Inflatable

AirVault Inflatable is Greater Manchester’s first inflatable & trampoline park, and is still firmly at the forefront of fun. The massive ‘bounce area’ contains spring-loaded trampolines, inflatables, Ninja walls, foam pit, climbing walls, slides, obstacle course, airbag, and jump tower. These are all cleverly connected, so whether you want to complete a marathon mixed course or show off your cool moves on a favourite section, it’s non-stop thrilling, all the way.

With clever family thinking, each day opens with a popular toddler session, so the little ones don’t get swamped. Then all limits are off, and it’s open season for all ages! The mezzanine café offers a selection of hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, paninis, and cakes, all with a great view of the action, great for sit-out parents. Sneaky breath-catchers can take advantage of downstairs rest benches on the edge of the playing area, and lockers ensure no worrying about bouncing belongings! With an amazing sound system, large bookable event rooms, and VIP soft seating area, it’s the perfect venue for parties and team-building.

Located in Bolton between junctions 5 and 6 of the M61, it’s easily accessible, which could work out handy when your offspring plague you to go back again and again!

Inflata Nation Inflatable

It’s 364 days of fun at Trafford Park’s Inflata Nation, where the staff only get a rest on Christmas Day! Manchester’s newest inflatable arena has had a full revamp, reopening bigger and bouncier than ever, with two levels of bouncy exhilarating fun.

The brand new double-decker arena has lots of awesome new features and fun activities including multiple super slides with jaw-dropping 7 metre vertical drops, crazy dual-race bumpy slides, and Inflata Duel wibbly-wobbly gladiator platform. Or test your balance and strength on the incredible new tipping slide- how long and how high can you hang on?

There's also a brand new freefall activity for all daredevils, as well as an extended inflatable obstacle course, and a new inflata bubble section that’s great for leaping, jumping, tumbling, and ambushing mates with new ball pool guns. Under 4’s get their own Inflata Tots mini inflatable area complete with ball pool and soft play.

You can also book kids parties and a wide range of sessions that take over the whole arena, including Inflata Tots classes, grown-ups only sessions, and disability-friendly sessions. These are specially tailored for lower numbers, lower lights and music, plus there are free parent/carer places and complimentary juice and biscuits in the Inflata Café.

Total Ninja

Total Ninja is an inflatable park so massive and immersive, it’s spawned an entire philosophy! Take your budding warriors here and see them follow the bouncing, tumbling, laughing path of the Ninja hero, to find their breathless destiny! Each challenge on the eleven ninja runs is designed to show what you can do, not what you can’t.

Designed for ages 4+ and guaranteed to challenge your skills, the inflatable course will leave you jumping, climbing, and swinging your way to the finish line! Obstacles to be beaten include the spider wall, ring sliders, Ninja reaction zone, jump tower, tilting beams, scramble net, quad steps, sea of doors, floating bridge, Ninja climbing wall, giant airbag, and foam pits. Find your calm on rotating logs, sail through the sea of swings, and reach new highs on the warped wall.

Each booking at their Trafford Park site includes free access to the soft play area for kids aged up to 3, featuring a mini balance board, and hanging bag maze. If that doesn’t tire them out, there are trike cars, soft building blocks, and a ball pit. As the kids unleash their inner Ninja, parent warriors know true enlightenment comes from relaxing with a coffee and views of the action!
