Using problem-solving and detective skills, you’ll work together so solve the puzzles and escape in under an hour. ‘The Signal’ places you in an abandoned military bunker to investigate mysterious lights in the sky, while ‘Spellbound’ takes you back to the witchcraft trials of the 17^th Century. Escape Game Over is an international brand of escape rooms, with 350 rooms in 86 cities around the world. The rooms are fully interactive, and the fun is in playing different roles to awaken your imagination. The Derby location has five rooms to chose from: ‘Maniac’, ‘Espionage’, ‘Jack the Ripper’, ‘Forbidden Temple of Montezuma’ and ‘Winter is Coming’. Escape Time

The Escape Time rooms in Burton upon Trent are actually in Staffordshire but close to the Derbyshire border. To escape from these rooms, you will have to think outside of the box and find clues to help you crack a series of locks and brain teasing puzzles. There are three themed rooms to choose from: ‘Prison X’, ‘Sam's Saloon’ and ‘The Basement’. ‘The Basement’ is only for the brave and those over the age of 16 though, so be warned!

Deception Escape Rooms

A short drive out of Derby will take you our final pick: Deception Escape Rooms in Matlock. There are three escape rooms here: ‘Trapped’, ‘Scarytale’ and ‘Jilted’. With inspiration taken from horror films and thrillers, these atmospheric rooms are sure to get your heart racing and your brains working overtime! All games are suitable for two to six players.
