The Escape Time rooms in Burton upon Trent are actually in Staffordshire but close to the Derbyshire border. To escape from these rooms, you will have to think outside of the box and find clues to help you crack a series of locks and brain teasing puzzles. There are three themed rooms to choose from: ‘Prison X’, ‘Sam's Saloon’ and ‘The Basement’. ‘The Basement’ is only for the brave and those over the age of 16 though, so be warned!

A short drive out of Derby will take you our final pick: Deception Escape Rooms in Matlock. There are three escape rooms here: ‘Trapped’, ‘Scarytale’ and ‘Jilted’. With inspiration taken from horror films and thrillers, these atmospheric rooms are sure to get your heart racing and your brains working overtime! All games are suitable for two to six players.
