As one of our more physical activities, Climbing is also one of the most popular. It can seem daunting at first, but our trained instructors will assist in providing expert tuition.

Abseiling involves an easier approach to the top of our activity tower or off-site crag.
With some coaching, set yourself and lean back over the edge ready for the descent.

The course itself consists of a variety of different obstacles such as rope traverses, mud crawls, water tubes, cargo nets, the list goes on. Designed as a team event along a designated route, our infamous Mud Assault Course has become a popular choice for those preparing for such events as ‘Tough Mudder’ & ‘X Runner’. Of course, if you just want to run around in the mud with your mates and have a great time, then our mud assault course is also a great chance to do just that!

Caving is one of our most popular activities as it combines exploration, physical strength and mental determination. If you don’t like dark or cramped spaces then it’s not the activity for you, but for everyone else you’re going to make some memories that will last a lifetime.

It’s a great activity for a family or group of friends. Who knows what you’ll find deep in the darkness?

Bushcraft skills include firecraft, cooking, shelter building, the use of tools such as knives and axes, foraging and hand-carving wood. These are the kinds of skills well known to our ancient predecessors, many of which are still practiced today as an everyday skill among native peoples around the world.

Out of all the outdoor activities we offer, Land Yachting is perhaps the most thrilling. This historic beach has seen many land speed records and when you’re this close to the sand you will feel like you’re racing too. Sessions are of course wind dependent – if there is not enough wind, an alternative activity will be offered, or the opportunity to book another date will be available.
The experience can also be purchased as an activity voucher which can be redeemed over the course of a year.

The activity has a Jacobs Ladder, balance beams a tight line, cargo net and much more. It’s a great team event for families or friends, and always provides more than a few laughs.

Scale the course in teams of up to four members and attempt to overcome the different tasks set by our experienced instructors.
Reach the top and balance out the SeeSaw to complete the challenge.

The two opponents are kitted out in a huge padded sumo wrestling suits. The idea is to grapple with your opponent whilst pushing and pulling until he or she is moved to outside of the ring. If you are searching for action and fun with a touch of madness then this is the one for you.

It’s a physical activity, but also requires good co-ordination to stay upright in such a large suit. It protects you from harm, but it also makes moving difficult!

Our on-site mountain biking track is designed and built by elite level mountain biker Rowan Sorrell.
This purpose built course offers the perfect opportunity for both beginners and the more advanced cyclists to test our their skills on a cinder based trail within a supervised session.

Alternatively we offer local short distance off-site trails/routes, one of which taking you to a secluded beach cut off from commercial use.

The Woodland Scramble consists of a fast flowing stream with various obstructions that have to be negotiated along the way. It combines key elements to that of our mud assault course and gorge walking, as participants have to deal with water, mud and similar obstacles that feature in both of these activities.

Whether you’re young or old, you’re going to love the challenge of picking up a bow and taking aim at the target. It’s an activity which looks deceptively simple, and also rewards patience and the ability to make small tweaks to your technique.

Learning and developing the correct technique is essential in order to succeed in this activity. A designated instructor will be on hand at all times to offer any assistance.

Axe and knife throwing is one of our most popular activities as it mixes your ability to aim with physical strength. It’s one thing throwing a ball, it’s something else entirely to wield these items and throw them accurately.

With a bit of practice, you’ll get the hang of it, and your results will only improve.

Our targets allow you to see what you’re doing right – and what you’re doing wrong – so you can improve your technique for the best results.

Can you beat your mates?

The Welsh countryside is a beautiful place and there’s seldom better ways to explore it than on foot with a good walk. Based in Pendine, Carmarthenshire we know the very best locations for a walk in West Wales, and we will take you on a guided tour so you can see all of the sights.

Although it’s not as exciting as some of our other activities, the walks are a great form of exercise whilst you appreciate Welsh countryside. Bring a camera – you’ll get some great snaps!

This activity session provides you with a chance to learn the basics of Body Boarding and further develop your skills.

It also allows for a greater understanding for the sea and movement of water in order to catch the ideal wave at it’s optimum moment.

Our Gorge Walking sessions take place in the stunning Neath Valley, otherwise known as Waterfall Country. It’s certainly no easy task, but this physical activity will keep you on your toes. Our staff are there to help novices along, making this an activity which is suitable for all.

If you were stranded on an island and had a select amount of materials to build a raft that would float, could you? We’re not going to stick you on an island, but we are going to test your raft building abilities in this very popular and challenging group activity! Will you sink or float? It’s time to find out!

When the swell is too big to travel we use our sit on kayaks to play in the surf at our local beach Pendine Sands.
You will learn how to paddle both with and against the surf, balance techniques (very useful when paddling over broken waves) and how to catch and surf waves effectively.

With the help of experienced tuition, participants will learn all the appropriate techniques and tips in order to ride a wave successfully in our surfing activity. Through careful observation, our guides will lend a hand where necessary, allowing you to develop a better understanding and appreciation for the coastal and beach environment.

Of course, it’s also great fun to ride the waves, and you’re sure to have a barrel of laughs with your friends when you’re on and off the board!
