These days our modern sit on top, plastic boats, give you the comfort and safety you expect ensuring maximum fun out on water

Loch Insh has had record breaking catches back in the 80's, although the salmon are few and far between these days we have plenty of hungry pike out there, 30+ regularly caught
We also have Brown & Rainbow Trout as well as a wee shoal of endangered Arctic Char still fighting their corner with some cracking three pounders last year. Our Gillie will tell stories of catching seven pound char in the 70's which he later found out would have stood as the UK record for char till this day!

To hire boats, customers will be asked if they can "Rig it, Reef it and Right it?" If you don’t know what this means then you must take lessons first. Sailing is one of our most popular sports, from relaxed family cruisers, to the challenge of mastering the dinghies and catamarans, there really is something for everyone. There is a lot to learn in a sailing boat so before you can take one out yourself you require a little more instruction than other activities.
