Our Gorge Walking experience (aka Gorge Scrambling) typically involves scrambling, climbing, crawling, waterfall jumps and much more, set in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park. For full details take a look at our photos and video below which were taken on the routes we use.
On arrival you will be provided with a wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet …as soon as you start you’ll see why! Our gorge walking experience is unique and we have been running this activity for many years. During this time have developed the most challenging, exciting, fast paced and adventurous experience set amidst spectacular scenery.
The Brecon Beacons national park is the perfect setting for Gorge Walking it covers 500 square miles and has been designated an area of outstanding natural beauty it also includes South Wales highest mountain- Pen y fan. The location for this activity is only 45 minutes drive from Cardiff in South Wales or 25 minutes from Swansea.
Gorge Walking takes place in area known locally as Waterfall Country, both brimming with life and wreathed in legend. As you can see the term “Gorge Walking” can be quite misleading as this activity is no simple walk in the park! so we tend to call it Gorge Scrambling (aka Canyoing) We believe we offer the best Gorge Walking (or Gorge Scrambling) experience in the Brecon Beacons but dont just take our word for it, take a look at our numerous Trip Advisor reviews to see what previous customers have to say.
What do I need to know
The Minimum age for this activity is 10 years old, unlike some competitor companies we do not mix stag groups or similar with family groups. Please note 10-13 year olds may not be able to complete all the challenging elements of this route however an easier and alternative option will always be available.
