The Night-Line requires the group to work together. The group will follow a guide rope around an obstacle course whilst blind-folded. They will be required to stay in physical contact with each other and communicate well in order to achieve a safe and effective navigation of the course. Dragon Boat

Dragon Boating is an exciting team event. The team works together to develop coordination and rhythm with the aid of a drum. Each boat is helmed by a qualified member of staff to put the team through their paces and give everyone the opportunity to lead. Once a year we hold our annual Dragon Boar Racing event in September. Contact the centre for details and to take part. Many groups like to book time in advance to practice for the event.
Raft Building

This event is focused on planning, resourcefulness and team work with a combination of orienteering and raft-building using the whole group. Starting off with a time-limited orienteering exercise using a range of watercraft including canoes, kayaks and paddleboards, combined with an archery challenge to find and assemble as many parts of the raft as possible that are distributed around the land at South Cerney Outdoor.

Windsurfing is an all body activity and is an excellent way to introduce young people to the water. From appreciation of how a board works and is manoeuvred the individual learns to use the sail to apply force and power to make the board move and steer. The relationship between the natural forces and the individual is immediate and intense. Windsurfing on a wide, stable board, they will learn skills to rig the equipment, sail and turn and return safely.
