If you are looking to go Canyoning in Wales (aka Gorge Walking / Gorge Scrambling) the best known location for this activity is in the Brecon Beacons National Park- only a 45 minute drive from Cardiff in South Wales or 25 minutes drive from Swansea! Follow the rivers and magnificent gorges located in this famous waterfall landscape, accompanied by our qualified and experienced instructors.
Canyoning (also referred as canyoneering in America) typically involves walking, climbing, jumping, abseiling and swimming to navigate your way through rivers, gorges and waterfalls in remote and rugged locations. Our Canyoning experience takes place in the waterfall country of the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park, also used as a training ground for the SAS and SBS.
Suitably kitted out in a wet suit, buoyancy aid and helmet, your group will take the most exciting route to include tobogganing down rapids, traversing rock walls, jumping across boulders, scrambling up rock faces, crawling behind and jumping off waterfalls and exploring hidden caves. The day would not be complete without taking the plunge at Loonies Leap! There is no better place to do Canyoning in Wales.
We have been running Canyoning trips in Wales for many years and have discovered the most challenging, exciting, fast paced and adventurous experience possible.
