Our Kayak and Canoe sessions allow you to experience the docks like you've never seen them before! We offer 1 or 2 hour sessions with an experienced coach. Sessions can include:
Albert Dock canoe trips - An opportunity to paddle from the centre in Queen’s Dock through the South Liverpool Docklands passing spectacular sights throughout the journey before headings towards the Albert Dock and then returning. Taster sessions for beginners. British Canoeing training and assessment awards

Open water swimming is a brilliant way to get fit, reduce stress and have fun. Whether you’re a beginner or an expert you can get involved, and what better place to do so than in Liverpool's historic docks.
We have open water swimming sessions on a Wednesday evening from 5 pm to 8 pm and Sunday morning from 9 am to 10.30 am from spring to late Autumn. In the winter months we have a polar bear club who meet on a Saturday morning from 9.30am to 10.30am. Come down and give it a try
Useful Information
Safety is VERY important for our customers, therefore every open swimmer must sign a NOWCA (National Open Water Coaching Association) registration and you will receive a swim band for the season which costs £12. You can do this via the website www.nowca.org

Enjoy the thrill and excitement of powerboating whilst taking in the views of the Liverpool docks. We offer 1 hour fun rides around the South Liverpool dock system. We also deliver the RYA level 1 and 2 inland courses for groups and individuals. The courses cover practical and theoretical elements enabling you to gain the necessary skills to drive your own or hired craft.

Our sailing staff are amongst the most experienced instructors in the North West of England.
Our fleet now includes Optimists, Toppers, Picos, Wayfarers and a Drascombe Longboat giving a wide choice of sailing craft. Instruction can be given to groups or individually depending on what type of boat you prefer. RYA courses are also available from beginners to improver including start, basic, better and seamanship sailing also youth sailing stages 1 to 4.

Stand Up Paddleboarding is one of the fastest-growing watersports and it’s easy to pick up quickly. We have a selection of boards including red paddle, starboard, jobe, body glove. We also have 3 big giant SUPzillas which are great for stag & hen groups, birthday parties, and team-building away days.
If you would like some tuition on how to use the paddleboards, which meet in the summer months on a Wednesday from 6pm they provide instruction and paddle through the dock system into Liverpool

The Centre's equipment is suitable for a wide range of customers and their abilities, from beginners to improvers. We have a land simulator for your use and our coach will guide you through the basics. The centre's location is ideal for beginners starting out wanting to learn and improve. Instruction can be given in groups of up to six people, or on an individual basis. RYA courses can be arranged including start, intermediate and youth levels stages 1 & 2.
