Another World Adventure Centre is based in Halifax, West Yorkshire, and offers a professional and friendly team to help you have a great time and enjoy the experiences available.
Since the events of 2020 we have completely changed the way we offer our activities, we now offer packages or options which have to be booked in advance.
There are no queues for activities or equipment,
You have the activity & area to yourselves,
You have all your own- cleaned kit,
Any ordered food is brought to you,
As you book ahead you know your chosen activities will be available,
The centre is never ‘heaving’

Grass Sledging

The Grass sledging is available on it’s own or as part of the Mountain boarding and Dirt scooters activity, so no need to choose which one you want to do, have a go on them all.
The sledges are on caterpillar tracks and go probably slightly faster than their winter pals but don’t worry, they have breaks so you can steer and if you really want to, slow down.

The Mountain boarding is now part of the Grass sledging and Dirt scooters activity, no need to choose which one you want to do, have a go on them all.
Ever wanted to go snowboarding or surfing but there’s no snow there’s no sea nearby. Well who needs snow or water?
With 4 pneumatic wheels attached to the board the world is your oyster.
Low Ropes

Set in the woods at our activity centre, we have our ever expanding low ropes course. Designed to be challenging and fun at the same time the course is a great activity for groups for any event.
We’ve had hen parties doing the course dressed in the most unusual clobber, sports teams trying to beat the world low ropes record, even corporate teams willing the boss to fall off (even falling the 15” can seem funny).

We have three main slopes, none are very long (longest is around 500ft), but they are wide, varied, in breath taking surroundings and OUTDOORS.
Please note this activity is only available when it snows, which unfortunately these days isn’t as often as it used to.

Now here’s a new one. Imagine being able to bounce around, crash into friends (big and small), roll upside down and knock the kids over, without it hurting and without getting into trouble.
These are great fun. Different sized inflatable balls for kids to adults. Just put the ball over your head, adjust the straps to fit safeand comfotablly then off you go!

The shooting shelter has individual shooting bays where you can step forward into your station, shoot from a variety of positions with complete safety and concentration, then step back and compare what a lousy shot it was with your pals. The shelter is covered and the usually open sides can be covered if the weather is really bad.

The archery range is a huge open area surrounded by trees so apart from being beautiful and quite it is always sheltered from the wind which means the arrows won’t get blown off target. There goes that excuse for a naff shot. The shooting area itself is under cover from the weather.

Tag Archery is the exciting new archery team activity. Tag Archery is a thrilling way to spend a couple of exciting hours. It is similar to paintballing but without the extra mess and without the pain, using foam tipped reusable arrows, Tag Archery is a safe, exciting and fun sport.
Slingshots & Paintballs

This event is quite addictive. We spent 40 minutes trying to shoot paintballs through the old office letterbox.
The catapults are quite powerful and will fire quite a distance, the thing with this event is the fact that the paintballs explode when they hit the target but more fun than that is what the targets are. Some are more skill targets others are the sort you would love to done as a kid but couldn’t run away quick enough.
